Shelby graduated from the University of Tasmania with a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honours in 2015. She completed the Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice and was admitted to practice as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Tasmanian Supreme Court in August 2016. Shelby has been working at Abetz Curtis since September 2016.
Originally from Geelong, Shelby left the ‘mainland’ to study Law at the University of Tasmania and now happily calls Tasmania home. While at University, Shelby was co-editor of the University of Tasmania Law Review and completed her honours thesis on the topic of domestic surrogacy laws in Australia.
Shelby works in a range of areas including commercial and corporate law, wills and estates and property.
In her free time, Shelby enjoys cooking, travelling, playing netball and cheering on the Geelong Cats.
